The Austin International Poetry Festival is an unjuried four-day poetry festival involving poetry readings, workshops, open mics, poetry slams, and haiku. Established in 1995, API publishes two Anthologies for the festival. These are di-vêrseʹ-city (Adult Anthology) and di-vêrseʹ-city Youth Anthology - which are also read by the poets during poetry readings at the festival.

This festival went on hiatus in 2020 and will return in 2021.

The AIPF is partially funded by the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division.
