Through the authority of the Real Estate Act of Alberta, the Real Estate Council of Alberta sets and enforces standards of conduct and education requirements for industry professionals in order to protect the consumer; provide services that enhance and improve the industry; and promote the integrity of the industry. The Real Estate Council of Alberta's mandate is to protect consumers and to provide services that enhance and improve the industry and the business of industry professionals.
