Vanavara (Russian: Ванавара) is a rural locality (a selo) in Evenkiysky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located on the Podkamennaya Tunguska River at the mouth of the local Vanavarki River. Population: 3,153 (2010 Census); 3,313 (2002 Census); 5,697 (1989 Census).

Vanavara is notable for being the nearest populated place to the site of the 1908 Tunguska event.
