1) PSU: Public Sector Undertaking

The full form of PSU is Public Sector Undertaking. In India, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) are companies in which the majority of the shares (51% or more) belong to the government (central government or state government or partially to the central government and partially to the state government). The PSUs are created by the government to carry out commercial projects under its own banner. These state-owned companies are less concerned with profit and more focused on building the nation and improving the economy of the country. The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) audits all PSUs. It has the authority to appoint the Auditor and instruct him to follow the right audit process to audit the PSU accounts.

2) PSU: Power Supply Unit

In the computer, PSU stands for Power Supply Unit. It is a hardware component of a computer that provides optimal power to the internal components of the computer. A power supply unit (PSU) converts the main AC into regulated low-voltage DC power for the internal components of a computer. The power supply also regulates the voltage to protect the computer from high voltage fluctuations. Most modern power supplies for desktop personal computers comply with the ATX specification. These power supplies are turned on and off using a signal from the motherboard.
