The California League of Conservation Voters (CLCV) is a lobbying and educational organization which focuses on environmental issues affecting California.

Organized as a 501(c)(4), CLCV's mission is to protect California's environmental quality by increasing public awareness of the environmental performance of all elected officials, working to elect environmentally responsible candidates, and holding them accountable to the environmental agenda once elected.

At the end of each legislative year, CLCV publishes the California Environmental Scorecard. The Scorecard, which CLCV describes as "the definitive barometer of environmental politics in Sacramento", rates the performance of the California State Legislature and the governor on key environmental legislation. Al-Ahbash (Arabic: الأحباش‎, al-aḥbāsh, English: "The Ethiopians"), also known as the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects (AICP) (Arabic: جمعية المشاريع الخيرية الإسلامية‎, Jamʿīyah al-Mashārīʿ al-Khayrīyah al-ʾIslāmīyah) is a neo-traditionalist Sufi religious movement which was founded in the mid-1980s. Due to the group's origins and activity in Lebanon, the Ahbash have been described as the "activist expression of Lebanese Sufism."

The Ahbash have been noted for their ardent criticism of conservative strains of Islam, including the Salafi movement and Wahhabism. The movement has been described as one of the "most controversial Muslim associations" among modern Islamic groups and, within Sunni Islam, opponents of the Ahbash have frequently referred to the movement as unorthodox and deviant.

The Association of Independent Commercial Producers, or AICP, is an American not for profit organization that represents the interests of United States companies that specialize in commercial production. Its members work in various media—film, video, digital—for advertisers and agencies. The American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is the American Planning Association's professional institute. AICP certifies professionals in the United States in the field of urban planning and assists planners in the areas of ethics, professional development, planning education, and the standards of planning practice. Members of AICP pledge to adhere to a detailed Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Once certified, professional planners may place the designation "AICP" after their name to indicate their membership in AICP, and their mastery of the principles, skills, knowledge, and experience determined by the organization as essential for a professional planner.

To become certified, a planner must have a specified combination of relevant education and professional experience, must pass an examination that tests skills and knowledge, must pay an annual fee, and must be a member of the American Planning Association in good standing.
