Santa Rosa City Schools are the combination of two school districts in Santa Rosa, California: the Santa Rosa Elementary School District (grades K-6) and the Santa Rosa High School District (grades 7–12). The combined districts have over 16,000 students in nine elementary schools, five middle schools, six high schools (including one alternative high school), one K-8 arts charter school, one 5-6 accelerated charter school, one Spanish language dual immersion charter school, one French language dual immersion charter school, and several child care programs.

As Blood Runs Black is an American metalcore/deathcore band from Los Angeles, California. They have released three albums. Their first album, Allegiance, was released on June 6, 2006. Their second album, Instinct, was released on March 15, 2011. Instinct reached number 1 on the Billboard Heatseakers Albums chart and number 111 on the Billboard 200 for the week of April 2, 2011. On June 30, 2013, As Blood Runs Black announced that they would be self-releasing their newest album, Ground Zero, with the help of crowdfunding via IndieGoGo; this was successful and the album was released on October 27, 2014. It's also said that former guitarist Ernie Flores had returned to the band as he has been doing "guitar playthroughs" of songs from their first album Allegiance on February and March 2021.

The band has gone through several lineup changes throughout its history, with drummer Hector "Lech" de Santiago being the only original member left, though bassist Nick Stewart has appeared on every studio album to date.

The Rotary Cell Culture System (RCCS) is a device designed to grow three-dimensional cell clusters in microgravity. In the early 1990s, NASA researchers began developing hardware that would let them study the cell tissues of mammals—including humans—in microgravity. They also needed it to protect the fragile cultures from the turbulence of Space Shuttle launch and landing. The resulting device enables the growth of tissue, cancer tumors and virus cultures outside the body, both in space and on Earth.

The cell culture bioreactor—known commercially as the Rotary Cell Culture System (RCCS) -- boasts several advantages that exceed typical laboratory methods. Lab-grown cell cultures tend to be small, flat and two-dimensional, unlike normal cultures. But tissues grown in the RCCS are larger and three-dimensional, with structural and chemical characteristics similar to normal tissue. Additionally, the RCCS has no internal moving parts, therefore minimizing any forces that might damage the delicate cell cultures.

Roberto Clemente Charter School is a small, urban, public charter school located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The school is located at 4th and Walnut Streets in Allentown. It serves students in grades 6 through 12. It had 320 students enrolled in the 2007–08 school year. Approximately 94% of the students then enrolled at Roberto Clemente Charter School were Hispanic. In March 2014, Roberto Clemente Charter School reached an agreement to purchase a school building on Cedar Street in Allentown.

Roberto Clemente Charter School is named for Roberto Clemente, a 12-time Gold Glove Award winner with the Pittsburgh Pirates whose Major League Baseball career was cut short by his 1972 death in a plane crash.
