Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a skill development initiative scheme of the Government of India for recognition and standardisation of skills.

The aim of the PMKVY scheme is to encourage aptitude towards employable skills and to increase working efficiency of probable and existing daily wage earners, by giving monetary awards and rewards and by providing quality training to them. Average award amount per person has been kept as ₹8,000 (US$110). Those wage earners already possessing a standard level of skill will be given recognition as per scheme and average award amount for them is ₹2000 to ₹2500. In the initial year, a target to distribute ₹15 billion (US$200 million) has been laid down for the scheme. Training programmes have been worked out on the basis of National Occupational Standards (NOS) and qualification packs specifically developed in various sectors of skills. For this qualification plans and quality plans have been developed by various Sector Skill Councils (SSC) created with participation of Industries. National Skill Development Council (NSDC) has been made coordinating and driving agency for the same.

An outlay of ₹120 billion (US$1.6 billion) has been approved by the cabinet for this project. The scheme has a target to train 1 crore Indian youth from 2016-20. As of 18 July 2016, 17.93 lakh candidates were trained out of 18 lakh who enrolled for the scheme.

The Bell Labs Technical Journal is the in-house scientific journal for scientists of Nokia Bell Labs, published yearly by the IEEE society. The managing editor is Charles Bahr.

The journal was originally established as the Bell System Technical Journal (BSTJ) in New York by the American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T) in 1922, published under this name until 1983, when the breakup of the Bell System placed various parts of the system into separate companies. The journal was devoted to the scientific fields and engineering disciplines practiced in the Bell System for improvements in the wide field of electrical communication. After the restructuring of Bell Labs in 1984, the journal was renamed to AT&T Bell Laboratories Technical Journal. In 1985, it was published as the AT&T Technical Journal until 1996, when it was renamed to Bell Labs Technical Journal.

"Give Me All Your Luvin'" is a song by American singer Madonna from her twelfth studio album, MDNA (2012). It features guest vocals by Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj and English rapper M.I.A. The song was written and produced by Madonna and Martin Solveig, with additional writing by M.I.A., Minaj and Michael Tordjman. After working with Solveig on one song, Madonna continued recording others including "Give Me All Your Luvin'". Madonna chose to work with M.I.A. and Minaj on the track since she felt they were both strong women with unique voices. She also liked their music and what they represented.

A demo version of the song, titled "Give Me All Your Love", was leaked on November 8, 2011, resulting in a man from Spain being arrested for copyright violations. Commercially, the song attained success, topping the charts in Canada, Finland, Hungary, and Israel while peaking within the top ten in several European countries. The Global Fellowship programme (previously The Prime Minister's Global Fellowship) works with 18- and 19-year-old students from England to give them a strong foundation in interacting with one of the three major emerging economies. It began in 2008, is funded by the Department for Education and is managed by the British Council.

Every year in July and August 100 young people are sent to Brazil, China or India to investigate issues of culture, language, education and global enterprise. The fully funded six week journey is an investigation into the social, economic and environmental effects of globalisation and learning what a positive role those on the programme can play in the process. The programme is typically split into three parts; two weeks language and cultural immersion, two weeks in a local school and staying with a host family, and two weeks as the guest of a global company.

The first two weeks involve daily language classes, combined with cultural activities and visits. This part of the programme is designed to give practical language skills and an understanding of etiquette and culture. The activities and visits are aimed at giving an insight into the contrasts inherent in the emerging economies, and the drivers behind their rapid growth.

The middle fortnight is centered on staying with a peer from the host country. By experiencing school life while living with a host family, Fellows get the opportunity to compare how education can shape the expectations of young people on opposite sides of the world.

The global companies involved in 2009 were B&Q/Kingfisher, Cadbury Schweppes, Cambridge University Press, G4S, GKN, Hays plc, HSBC, IMI plc, KPMG, Pearson Education, RSA Insurance Group, Royal Dutch Shell, Tata Consultancy Services, Virgin Atlantic and Jones Lang Lasalle. Each company took a number of Fellows, many in more than one of the countries, and provided a placement which demonstrated business in a global environment. The main aims of the programme are to educate Britain's young generation to understand the opportunities and challenges for them in the new global economy. It also provides them with a vehicle through which to communicate a new narrative to the general public, and gives young people a voice in what Britain needs to do in the future.

On their return all Fellows automatically become part of the Prime Minister's Global Fellowship Alumni, a network of active globally minded young people in England tasked with sharing their experiences and learning from the Fellowship experience on local and national platforms, to raise awareness of global issues.

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida. It features exhibits and displays, historic spacecraft and memorabilia, shows, two IMAX theaters, and a range of bus tours of the spaceport. The "Space Shuttle Atlantis" exhibit contains the Atlantis orbiter and the Shuttle Launch Experience, a simulated ride into space.
