The Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), in English House of the World's Cultures, in Berlin is Germany's national center for the presentation and discussion of international contemporary arts, with a special focus on non-European cultures and societies. It presents art exhibitions, theater and dance performances, concerts, author readings, films and academic conferences on Visual Art and culture. The National Sports Committee of Indonesia (Indonesian: Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia, abbreviated KONI) is the sports governing body of Indonesia. It was founded in 1946 to unite the various satellite sports associations that was created within the regions of Indonesia. KONI is responsible on sport development as well as organising sporting events within Indonesian national boundary on national level. It organizes the Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON), multi-sport event held every four years where Indonesian athletes compete. It is the largest sporting event in Indonesia.

In 2005, KOI (Komite Olimpiade Indonesia or Indonesian Olympic Committee) was formed as a separate entity from KONI. KOI is responsible as Indonesian National Olympic Committee, to organise Indonesian participation in international sporting events, such as Olympic Games, Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games, etc. The KONI-KOI separation was based according to Act No. 3 of 2005 on National Sport System, and further enforced with Government Regulation No. 17 of 2007 about the organizing of sporting events.

The International Jute Study Group (IJSG) is an intergovernmental organization of states that functions as the international commodity board for jute, kenaf, and related fibres. The IJSG functions as a body of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Its main purpose is to ensure transparency in the international trade of jute and kenaf.

The creation of the IJSG was negotiated in 2000 and 2001 in Geneva and was agreed to in a multilateral treaty known as the Agreement establishing the Terms of Reference of the International Jute Study Group. The IJSG was intended to replace the International Jute Organization, which had ceased to exist. The agreement was ratified by Bangladesh, the European Union, India, and Switzerland, and the IJSG came into existence on 27 April 2002, with headquarters in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Switzerland withdrew from IJSG in September 2002. The states that remain in the IJSG account for approximately 60 per cent of the world's jute trade.

The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an annual science competition for students aged 15 and under. It is one of International Science Olympiads and the only international academical competition that covers physics, chemistry and biology at the same time. The first IJSO was held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2004. Around 70 countries send delegations of three to six students, plus one to three team leaders, and observers.

The competition is broken down into three tests, each of which lasts between three and four hours. The theoretical portion consists of two tests: a multiple choice questionnaire consisting of 30 questions, and a theoretical test. The practical portion consists of three laboratory examinations, one for each field.

In music performance and notation, legato ([leˈɡaːto]; Italian for "tied together"; French lié; German gebunden) indicates that musical notes are played or sung smoothly and connected. That is, the player makes a transition from note to note with no intervening silence. Legato technique is required for slurred performance, but unlike slurring (as that term is interpreted for some instruments), legato does not forbid re-articulation.

Standard notation indicates legato either with the word legato, or by a slur (a curved line) under notes that form one legato group. Legato, like staccato, is a kind of articulation.

There is an intermediate articulation called either mezzo staccato or non-legato (sometimes referred to as portato).

The Hawaii International Conference on Education (HICE) is an annual conference for Education academics and professionals currently sponsored by Pepperdine University, The University of Louisville, California State University, East Bay, and New Horizons in Education. The conference provides a platform for panel discussions and the presentation of peer-reviewed education research papers. Papers selected for presentation appear in the Proceedings of the Hawaii International Conference on Education, which have grown to constitute nearly 45,000 pages of refereed material in the 9-year history of the conference.

Confédération générale des travailleurs tunisiens ('General Confederation of Tunisian Workers', abbreviated CGTT) was a central trade union organisation in Tunisia. Founded in 1924, it was the first Tunisian trade union central. However, the French colonial authorities soon clamped down on the organization. Several of its leaders were arrested. Six of them, including Mohammad Ali, were put on trial in November 1925 and deported from the country. Soon thereafter, CGTT was dissolved.
