The International Peace Observers Network (IPON) is an independent, non-violent human rights, non-profit organization based in Hamburg, Germany. It monitors the human rights situation in the Philippines and works to protect human rights defenders. IPON aims to create an environment where human rights are respected and human rights groups are able to undertake their work in a secure environment free from threats, violence, and repression.

Upon request, international volunteers, who work as peaceworkers, accompany groups of human rights defenders (HRD) in the Philippines, currently in the islands of Luzon, Negros, and Mindanao. Information gathered in conflict areas is analyzed by observers and brought to the attention of the international public. "This way the international pressure on the Philippines to guarantee human rights rises. The publication of human rights violations will finally lead to their decrease and prevention."

Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamicisation of the Occident (German: Patriotische Europäer gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes), abbreviated Pegida (German: [peˈɡiːda], stylised in its logo as PEGIDA), is a pan-European, anti-Islam, far-right political movement. German Pegida believes that Germany is being increasingly Islamicised and defines itself in opposition to Islamic extremism.

Pegida wants to curb immigration; it accuses the authorities of failure to enforce immigration laws. Pegida has held many demonstrations; often accompanied by counter-demonstrations. In 2015, Lutz Bachmann, the founder of Pegida, resigned from the movement after reportedly posing as Adolf Hitler and making racist statements on Facebook. He was later reinstated.

The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) was formed in 1990 with the goal summarized in its mission statement:

IADMS's mission is to enhance health, well-being, training, and performance in dance by cultivating medical, scientific, and educational excellence.

As at 2020, the association had a membership of over 1,500 from over 52 countries.

Since its inception, the association has held an annual meeting (scientific conference) at venues around the world. These conferences, currently four days in length, are multidisciplinary, with lectures, symposia, and forums on dance medicine, dance science, and dance education, as well as movement sessions. The Amazwi South African Museum of Literature, previously the National English Literary Museum (NELM), is a museum that houses archival material relating to South Africa's literary heritage. It is located in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown) in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.

Amazwi's primary functions are to collect and conserve material evidence pertaining to South African literature, to publicise and popularise it, and to provide all sections of the reading public, both locally and abroad, with the means of access to it. The museum has three principal collections: manuscripts, books and journals, and press clippings. The museum also conducts many outreach programmes (mainly focused on school pupils and university students) aimed at promoting and creating awareness of South Africa's rich literary heritage.

The museum was known as the National English Literary Museum from its founding in 1972 to May 2019. The museum then formally changed its name to Amazwi South African Museum of Literature at the order of Minister of Culture Nathi Mthethwa, aligned to a new organisational vision of linguistic and cultural inclusivity, and a new mandate to promote and preserve important South African literary works produced not only in English, but across all indigenous languages.
