The West Michigan Railroad (reporting mark WMI) is a shortline railroad in southwest Michigan. It began operations in 1995, replacing the bankrupt Kalamazoo, Lake Shore and Chicago Railroad (reporting mark KLSC) on an ex-Pere Marquette Railway line between Hartford and Paw Paw, Michigan. That company had taken over operations in 1987 from CSX Transportation.

Traffic on the West Michigan Railroad consists of chipped rubber, plastic pellets, methanol, and corn oil.

The railroad has been owned by Hamilton Hartford Group, LLC since 2015.

Vancouver Island is an island in the northeastern Pacific Ocean and part of the Canadian province of British Columbia. The Virgin Islands (Spanish: Islas Vírgenes) are an archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. Pietermaritzburg (; Zulu: umGungundlovu) is the capital and second-largest city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was founded in 1838 and is currently governed by the Msunduzi Local Municipality. Its Zulu name umGungundlovu is the name used for the district municipality. Pietermaritzburg is popularly called Maritzburg in Afrikaans, English and Zulu alike, and often informally abbreviated to PMB. The Wayne County Airport Authority is a governmental entity that operates airports in Metro Detroit in the U.S. state of Michigan. The authority operates Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Willow Run Airport. It has its headquarters in the L.C. Smith Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus.

The authority is overseen by an independent board appointed jointly by the Governor of Michigan, the Wayne County Executive and the Wayne County Commission. Prior to the authority's founding, these two airports were operated directly by Wayne County. Michigan Senate Bill 690, signed into law on March 26, 2002, became effective on April 24 of that year, establishing the airport authority. Accordingly, as of 2002, the airports are no longer operated by Wayne County.

Several Zimbabwean sign languages developed independently among deaf students in different Zimbabwean schools for the deaf starting in the 1940s. Port Jersey, officially the Port Jersey Port Authority Marine Terminal and referred to as the Port Jersey Marine Terminal, is an intermodal freight transport facility that includes a container terminal located on the Upper New York Bay in the Port of New York and New Jersey. The municipal border of the Hudson County cities of Jersey City and Bayonne runs along the long pier extending into the bay.

The facility was created between 1972 and 1976 and acquired by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in July 2010. Its major tenant is GCT Bayonne, a post-panamax shipping facility operated by Global Container Terminals.

GCT Bayonne has been modernized. In May 2013 a 900 foot (270m) berth extension was completed, increasing the total dock face to 2,700 feet (820m) of contiguous berth, allowing the facility to handle the latest Suez Max vessels.

Much of Port Jersey is part of United States Foreign-Trade Zone 49. Most of the area in and around the facility is restricted, though a walkway along its northern side is accessible to the general public and may eventually connect with the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. A very small bird sanctuary (specifically for the least tern) is also located on the promenade.

Transactional analysis (TA) is a psychoanalytic theory and method of therapy wherein social interactions (or “transactions”) are analyzed to determine the ego state of the communicator (whether parent-like, childlike, or adult-like) as a basis for understanding behavior. In transactional analysis, the communicator is taught to alter the ego state as a way to solve emotional problems. The method deviates from Freudian psychoanalysis which focuses on increasing awareness of the contents of subconsciously held ideas.
