Matamoros, officially known as Heroica Matamoros, is a city in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas.It is on the southern bank of the Rio Grande, directly across the border from Brownsville, Texas, in the United States.Matamoros is the second largest city in the state of Tamaulipas.As of 2016, Matamoros had a population of 520,367.In addition, the Matamoros–Brownsville Metropolitan Area has a population of 1,387,985, making it the 4th largest metropolitan area on the Mexico–US border. The Mexican National Anthem was played for the first time in public at an opera house, the Teatro de la Reforma (sometimes known as The Opera Theater) in Matamoros.

Matamoros has a semiarid climate, with mild winters and hot, humid summers. Matamoros and Brownsville, Texas, are home to the Charro Days and Sombrero Festival, two-nation fiestas that commemorate the heritage of the U.S. and Mexico which are celebrated every February.

Botetourt County ( BOT-ə-tot) is a US county that lies in the Roanoke Region of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Located in the mountainous portion of the state, the county is bordered by two major ranges, the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains.

Botetourt County was created in 1770 from part of Augusta County and was named for Norborne Berkeley, known as Lord Botetourt. It originally comprised a vast area, which included the southern portion of present day West Virginia and all of Kentucky. Portions were set off to form new counties beginning in 1772, until the current borders were established in 1851.

Botetourt County is part of the Roanoke Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area, and the county seat is the town of Fincastle. As of the 2020 census, the county population was 33,596. The area has seen growth in recent decades, with the population increasing more than 30% between the 1990 census and 2010 census.

The Bacon County Elementary School, also referred to as Bacon County School, is a historic school in Alma, Georgia, located at 504 North Pierce Street (US Highway 1). It was built by Alexander Douglas and was constructed in 1933-1934. It is in the Colonial Revival style. The school contains a two-story main block (containing offices) with a portico in the center with one-story wings for classrooms. There is a large auditorium in the rear.

A junior high school and high school were constructed on the site in the 1940s. A cafeteria was built in 1953 and two buildings for kindergarten and Head Start were built in 1969. The 1969 buildings remain, but are outside the National Register boundary. The 1940s and 1953 buildings were demolished in 2003. Sault Ste. Marie ( SOO-seint-ma-REE) is a city at the St. Marys River in Ontario, Canada, close to the Canada–US border. It is the seat of the Algoma District and the third largest city in Northern Ontario, after Sudbury and Thunder Bay.

The Ojibwe, the indigenous Anishinaabe inhabitants of the area, call this area Baawitigong, meaning "place of the rapids." They used this as a regional meeting place during whitefish season in the St. Mary's Rapids. (The anglicized form of this name, Bawating, is used in institutional and geographic names in the area.)

To the south, across the river, is the United States and the Michigan city of the same name. These two communities were one city until a new treaty after the War of 1812 established the border between Canada and the United States in this area at the St. Mary's River. In the 20th century, the two cities are joined by the International Bridge, which connects Interstate 75 on the Michigan side, and Huron Street (and former Ontario Secondary Highway 550B) on the Ontario side. Shipping traffic in the Great Lakes system bypasses the Saint Mary's Rapids via the American Soo Locks, the world's busiest canal in terms of tonnage that passes through it, while smaller recreational and tour boats use the Canadian Sault Ste. French colonists referred to the rapids on the river as Les Saults de Ste. Marie and the village name was derived from that. The rapids and cascades of the St. Mary's River descend more than 6 m (20 ft) from the level of Lake Superior to the level of the lower lakes. Hundreds of years ago, this slowed shipping traffic, requiring an overland portage of boats and cargo from one lake to the other. Sault Ste. Marie is bordered to the east by the Rankin Reserve (of Batchewana First Nation) and Garden River First Nation reserves, and to the west by Prince Township. The European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) is an electronic self-declaration document to be submitted by suppliers interested in tendering for contracts for the supply of goods, works or services to public bodies located anywhere within the European Union.

Created under the EU's 2014 Directive on Procurement and implemented, for example, by Regulation 59 of the UK's Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the ESPD is intended to simplify the process of qualification for tendering by permitting businesses to self-declare that they meet the necessary regulatory criteria or commercial capability requirements of the public authority concerned, without needing to submit proof unless subsequently selected as the appointed contractor. The supplier must state that they are able, upon request and without delay, to provide the supporting documents necessary to prove compliance.

The European Commission issued a Commission Implementing Regulation on 5 January 2016 "establishing the standard form for the European Single Procurement Document". Annex 1 of the regulation provides instructions on the use of the ESPD, for example when it can be used, exclusions due to misrepresentation, and what information will be needed. Chachapoyas (Spanish pronunciation: [tʃa.tʃaˈpo.ʝas]) is a city in northern Peru at an elevation of 2,335 meters (7,661 ft). The city has a population of 32,026 people (2017). Situated in the mountains far from the Peruvian coast, Chachapoyas remains fairly isolated from other regions of Peru.
