The Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition (GVCC), is a cycling advocacy group based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Founded in 1991, the GVCC is one of Canada's oldest cycling advocacy organizations. The GVCC is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving cycling in Victoria, BC, and increasing ridership through advocacy, participation, and education.

The GVCC's focuses include cycling advocacy, publication of Cycle Therapy, a quarterly magazine, Bike Sense, the cycling safety manual for British Columbia, weekly recreational rides, themed rides including the annual Architectural Bike Tour in conjunction with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, production of cycling maps and on special events, such as 2009's Velo Victoria.

The GVCC has hosted several international transportation symposia in its history, including the National Center for Bicycling an Walking's Pro Walk/Pro Bike conference in 2004, the Streets Are For People conference in 1998, and the Traffic Calming Conference in 1995.

The GVCC was instrumental in the development of the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, having organized the first cleanup of what would become the trail. GVCC members currently provide input to the development of the E&N Railway Trail and the Capital Regional District's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.

The Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) was the elite series tour name of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) competitions from 2003 to 2017.

The BFTS kicked off its tour on November 16, 2002 with the Mohegan Sun Invitational in Uncasville, Connecticut. Six of the series events were broadcast on NBC. Ryerson University (colloquially referred to as Ryerson, RyeU or RU) is a public research university located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The university's core campus is situated within the Garden District, although it also operates facilities elsewhere in downtown Toronto. The university operates seven academic divisions/faculties, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Communication and Design, the Faculty of Community Services, the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science, the Faculty of Science, the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, and the Ted Rogers School of Management. Many of these faculties are further organized into smaller departments and schools. The university also provides continuing education services through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education.

The institution was established in 1948 as the Ryerson Institute of Technology, named after Egerton Ryerson—a prominent contributor to the design of the Canadian public school system and the Canadian Indian residential school system. In 1964, the institution was reorganized under provincial legislation, and renamed Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Under that name, the institution was granted limited degree-granting powers during the 1970s. The institution was reorganized into a full-fledged university in 1993, and renamed Ryerson Polytechnic University. In 2002, several years after the university's school of graduate studies was established, the university adopted its current name, Ryerson University. On August 26, 2021, the university announced it would be renamed due to reconciliation of Egerton Ryerson's involvement in the residential school system; however, the school's new name has not yet been decided or announced.

The university is a co-educational institution, with approximately 44,400 undergraduates and 2,950 graduate students enrolled there during the 2019–20 academic year. A number of individuals have graduated from the institution, with Ryerson having nearly 170,000 alumni as of 2017. The university's athletics department operates several varsity teams that play as the Ryerson Rams, competing in the Ontario University Athletics conference of U Sports.
