The Asian Football Confederation (AFC; Arabic: الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم‎, romanized: Al-Ittiḥād Al-Assiyawī Likurat Al-Qadam) is one of the six confederations within FIFA and is the governing body of football in Asia and Australia.

It has 47 member countries, most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in the OFC, joined the Asian Football Confederation in 2006. Guam, a territory of the United States, and the Northern Mariana Islands, one of the two Commonwealths of the United States are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. Hong Kong and Macau, although not independent countries (both are Special Administrative Regions of China), are also members of the AFC.

The AFC was officially formed on 7 May 1954 in Manila, Philippines. The main headquarters are located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The current president is Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa of Bahrain.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) is a sole administrative authority over Cricket for the Blind in Pakistan, founded in 1997. PBCC is a founder member of the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) and full member of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The Northwest Conference (NWC) is an athletic conference which competes in the NCAA's Division III. Member teams are located in the states of Oregon and Washington. It was known as the Pacific Northwest Conference from 1926 to 1984.

The World Powerlifting Congress (WPC) is a powerlifting federation hosting meets around the world. The federation hosts competitions which allow multi-ply equipment, but hosted a Raw world championship for the first time in 2009.

The WPC was established in 1986 and has affiliates in 46 countries.

In 1999, the WPC started to host drug tested competitions under the AWPC banner, with both raw and equipped contests. The competitive season comes to an end each year in November, as qualified lifters from different countries compete in the annual WPC World Championships.

The United States affiliate for the WPC is the American Powerlifting Federation (APF). The APF has several series of qualifying competitions that allow athletes to advance from the local/state level, to the national level, and then finally to the international level, the WPC/AWPC.

As of 2013, the British affiliate is known as the BPU (British Powerlifting Union), following the BPC (British Powerlifting Committee) losing the WPC license.

The World Piano Competition Inc. was a not-for-profit arts organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio dedicated to the promotion of classical piano music. The organization was granted their non-profit, tax-exempt status in 1985. The competition was "America’s oldest annual piano competition for both Artists and Young Artists" and had featured performers from across the globe since 1956. Their mission was, "to inspire and positively impact our diverse communities with the joy and power of piano music, and celebrate and support young artists, locally and internationally, as they begin their careers." The competition gained international traction when a photo of a bloody piano was shared nearly 4,000 times on Facebook. Jack Rouse, who was chairman of the board for the competition, hopes the competition would be able to eventually find its way back in a financially viable state. The competition was partnered with two musical organizations also located in Cincinnati: University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Both the international Artist Division and regional Young Artist Division competitions were held annually at the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music, and winners in both competitions received cash prizes and recital opportunities in New York City. Finalists in the Artist Division competition perform with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Awadagin Pratt, an associate professor of music at the college-Conservatory of Music, was artistic director in 2012 and the grand prize in 2015 included $45,000 and a recital in New York.

24 competitors are heard in Cincinnati following a pre-screening round. Competitors are expected to play a 40-minute recital and, if successful, a 60-minute recital if they are to advance to the final round.

Due to the inability to raise the required $300,000 to continue the competition for the coming years, the competition was forced to discontinue the event after their 60th anniversary in 2016.

The World Puzzle Championship (commonly abbreviated as WPC) is an annual international puzzle competition run by the World Puzzle Federation. All the puzzles in the competition are pure-logic problems based on simple principles, designed to be playable regardless of language or culture.

National teams are determined by local affiliates of the World Puzzle Federation. Of the 26 championships (team category) held thus far, 14 have been won by the United States, 7 by Germany, 3 by the Czech Republic, and 2 by Japan. The most successful individual contestant is Ulrich Voigt (Germany) with 11 titles since 2000.

The latest WPC was held in October 2019 in Germany.
