The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), formerly known as the Metro Toronto Hockey League, is a minor level ice hockey organization based in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario. The league was founded in 1911 as the Beaches Hockey League by Fred C. Waghorne, Sr., and it is the largest minor hockey organization in the world. The league is sanctioned by the Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada.

The American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association (AHIHA) was established in 1973 by Chicago Blackhawks player Stan Mikita, and a local business man by the name of Irv Tiahnybik, after Irv discovered the difficulties his hard-of-hearing son was having with his hearing teammates. The hockey camp grew quickly, and drew deaf and hard-of-hearing ice hockey players from all over the country.

The organization hosts the annual, week-long Stan Mikita Hockey Camp in Woodridge, Illinois, at the Seven Bridges Ice Arena. The camp itself is free, though players do have to supply their own equipment and pay for their hotel room.

In addition to sponsoring the camp, AHIHA also helps advocate for its players, provides scholarships, and helps children obtain hearing aids. The Deaflympics ice hockey team is typically comprised almost solely of AHIHA players, and represented the USA once again in 2007 at Salt Lake City.

The Goulburn Valley Football Netball League is an Australian rules football and netball competition based in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, Australia. It is a member of the Victorian Country Football League and has won the Victorian Country Football Championships in 2003 and 2005.

Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) is the organisation responsible for the founding and growth of association football's derivative sport of beach soccer. Its founders also established the Beach Soccer World Championships; BSWW created a partnership with FIFA, FIFA Beach Soccer S.L., in 2005 to manage the tournament as the newly named FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the only major international beach soccer tournament that BSWW does not have a hand in organising but which is all the management of FIFA.

The Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) is a non-profit association of international sports federations that compete in the Summer Olympic Games. It is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, the same city where the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is also headquartered.

The International Sepaktakraw Federation, commonly known as ISTAF, is the international governing body for the sport of Sepak takraw, which was formed in 1988 with five founding member countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore,Indonesia and Myanmar, officially based in Thailand and with its secretariat in Singapore. The current President is Major General Dr. Charouck Arirachakaran of Thailand. Its main goal currently is to spread Sepak takraw into 75 different countries and ultimately make it an Olympic sport by 2026. As of April 2020, the federation consists of about 50 member national associations, mostly in Asia-Oceania, 13 of which are on provisional status.

Under ISTAF guidance, Sepak takraw has become the official sport at the South-East Asian Games since 1965 and has uninterrupted medal status at the Asian Games since 1990. It was additionally introduced as a demonstration sport at the 2009 World Games in Chinese Taipei. The federation also launched its own international tournaments in 2011, namely ISTAF World Cup and ISTAF SuperSeries (ISS), in which Thailand has won the most medals for. However, to secure the goal for the Olympic Games, the federation will have to work harder in order to fulfill the requirements of the International Olympic Committee (IOC): Any featured sport must be popularly played in at least 75 countries around the globe, and to be recognised by IOC as well as categorized as ARISF membership, the federation must fulfil certain criteria which include implementing the World Anti-Doping Agency Code, Olympic Movement Code as well as having a minimum of 50 associated national federations from at least three continents.
